I was afraid to take a lesson from a man because of some bad past experiences, but you are not like other PGA pros I have tried. I really enjoyed the 6-lessons and plan to take more as needed. You were so patient and understanding, yet positive—making sure I understood why and how each step of my new routine was important. I was the worst sand player in the world before you showed me how to get out of the bunker (sand). I now understand how to use the “bounce” on the bottom of the sand wedge. I bought a 52 and 60 degree sand wedges per your recommendation, so my distance control, in and out of the bunker, are more precise. I finally got it, when you explained that the sand wedge must be open and that the swing must be from “outside to in” splashing the sand rather than digging into the sand. Talk to you soon

I thought I was a good putter until you cleared up a few misconceptions. I did not know that a standard putter has 3-4 degrees of loft, and that the averages lie of a putter is about 72 degrees. Because of these two facts I have changed my putting stroke to a Gate Motion (like a door opening and closing-like Tiger Woods) and have gone away from the pendulum stroke that made me cut my putts. My short putts always seemed to miss and my long putts were always short. With my new Gate motion my golf ball rolls over and over without side spin. Thanks for the O-RING putting ball. I have almost accomplished the one goal we discussed, “Make sure the ball rolls perfectly-end over end-with no side rotation—it works and its easy.”
