Proper alignment means, the clubface is aimed toward the intended target, and the body flow lines formed by the shoulders, hips, legs and feet, should be parallel to the target. (Called a parallel left alignment) Points to remember:

  • Always start the alignment process from behind the ball
  • Pick a spot in front of the ball about 3-feet away
  • Aim the club head-first
  • Align the body parallel-second
  • Always lay down two clubs to form a parallel teaching aid
